Identifying modules

As the Modulina system allows the user to customize a vehicle, based on the mission at hand, there is great need for the user to be able to visually identify modules, without having to request digital data from the module.

Hence the Modulina Visual Identification Code™ (MVIC™) gives a quick visual cue for identifying the general function of each module, using line patterns, shapes and colors (analogous to Electronic Color Code).

Additionally each module has a marking code of letters and numbers (parallel to RKM Code).

The MVIC uses a series of bands (lines of specific width) encircling each cylindrical module, where each band is a mixed pattern of dashes, dots, shapes and symbols, augmented with a designated color. Color serves as an additional reference only, never to be relied upon as the sole indicator, as night-time vision and color blindness could then impede identification.
